The model 301 slitter is designed for slitting medium to heavy weight
carpets and textiles. One blade is positively driven and one blade is frictionally
driven, so any width material may be slit. The motor is a 1/2 horse power
used with a C-face parallel shaft speed reducer. Different RPM output
speeds are used to match the blades circumference speed to the
customer's fastest line speed. A variety of voltages can be supplied.
Slitter mounting is achieved by four 3/8-16 tapped holes in the base.
Trolleys are available for 4" 13 lb. or 6" 20 lb. wide flange I-Beams. If
several slitters are used or a long beam is used, we recommend the
6" 20 lb. beam. A single 301 slitter
weighs 130 pounds. The 301
slitters are available in either left hand or right hand units.
