The model 48500 is our newest, and widest bite butt-seamer.
The seam width is close to
2.5 inches when pulled out flat.
Currently, the 48500 is used on various
dye ranges and pressure
becks. It has an over edge of approximately 2½
inches when
pulled out. It is currently being used to sew carpet at
pressure
becks and dye ranges. The model 48500 Butt-Seamer will
excel in
any areas where seam pull-outs and failures are a
problem. Carpets
weighing 100 ounces per square yard
and heavier can be sewn with ease. The
model 48500 can
be made to fit our existing railway by making modifications
to
the railway T-Bar and Table.
